Humility
To be humble is to be in a state of reflecting, expressing or offered in the spirit of deference.
That is to best possible word to describe how I feel as I’m embarking on this Forgetting 2 Remember weekend seminar.
This journey, since March, has been a whirlwind of creating, growing, learning and becoming all that it is for the beautiful Souls that will be coming to spend the weekend with us starting tonight.
I’m so graciously humbled by all the love and support that I have been given.
I thank you for being apart of this journey in whatever way that it is for you. Whether you just log in every morning to read my blog, call with an encouraging word, drive hours to be able to help or just right out give of your services. Every gesture gives me hope, everyday, that this work is touching lives and for that reason I am deeply humbled and grateful!
I will talk to you again on Monday with highlights from the weekend!
Much Love and Peace,
Derinda
The First 100
It is hard for me to imagine that just a few short months ago Forgetting 2 Remember was born.
The labor has been intensive and the rewards have been beyond my wildest dreams.
The pregnancy, however, was many years in creation. It’s birth at the perfect timing.
I love the way God, Source, Higher Power, The Universe, (what ever you choose to call it) is divine in allowing for our highest intentions to become all that we want. Conceiving the idea, allowing for it’s growth and development, nourishing the seed with constant love and commitment, laboring for the many hours of pushing through the process to get to the final results. A masterpiece.
Thanks to all of you that have labored with me, encouraged the process and supported the journey.
You have changed my life! Cheers, to the next one hundred!
Much love and blessings,
Derinda
The presence of bliss
I was brought to tears many times today and cried in blissful joy of the beauty that surrounded me. Being raised in the Midwest things around my home are rather flat and disturbed by commercialism.
I have the wonderful opportunity to be in the mountains of Denver Colorado for the next few days. The incredible beauty of the untouched land, mountains and streams brought such bliss into my vision that I cried in total awe of the peace and stillness. It was incredible to have that experience today after writing yesterdays blog about finding inner peace in your life.
There CAN NOT be anything painful, hurtful or fearful in the presence moment. I know that I keep repeating it over and over again but it is such a level required to attaining that peace all the time.
Just before the amazing view I was involved in a conversation where the past had played a role in hitting a place of pain. Then by the divine Grace I was transported to the moment and everything was no longer affected by that suffering. A direct hit by Spirit! If awareness could always be so bold our self growth could be unmeasurable. It is not always that easy, sometimes the awareness is subtle and forces us to look harder to remember the present.
The great news with awareness is that each step forward is towards the life of your highest desire.
Two steps forward, one step back…..just keep dancing.
Words
We can all remember the saying when we were children about sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me.
I wish that were true. Some of the things that we can say to each other when we are reacting from a place of fear can hurt far worst than any hit from a stick or stone. When we speak from that place of pain inside ourselves, we are no longer speaking from love and those words can cut deeply. Sometimes we can create such pain from our words that healing can not be done. The pain between two people becomes so big that we can know longer see what we once loved in that person. All from words.
Think about that today, how do you meet someone with your words? With fear or love? How does that show up differently at work, home, or in the community? Do you show up differently to different people? Why?
Send me a message, let me know what comes up for you today.
When we greet each other with namaste, I honor the Spirit in you that is the same in me, nothing but love can exist.
