The First 100
It is hard for me to imagine that just a few short months ago Forgetting 2 Remember was born.
The labor has been intensive and the rewards have been beyond my wildest dreams.
The pregnancy, however, was many years in creation. It’s birth at the perfect timing.
I love the way God, Source, Higher Power, The Universe, (what ever you choose to call it) is divine in allowing for our highest intentions to become all that we want. Conceiving the idea, allowing for it’s growth and development, nourishing the seed with constant love and commitment, laboring for the many hours of pushing through the process to get to the final results. A masterpiece.
Thanks to all of you that have labored with me, encouraged the process and supported the journey.
You have changed my life! Cheers, to the next one hundred!
Much love and blessings,
Derinda
Staying the course.
Yesterday I watched a small bird, flying very fast, disappear into the canopy of an oak tree. So dense were its leaves that it was impossible to see what happened next, though I can tell you it remained inside.
I wondered how the little bird found its opening through the leaves at such a speed, and then managed to gently align its fragile body on the branch it chose to land upon, all within a fraction of a second. Not to mention the impossible to imagine flying maneuvers required: the banking, the curling, the vertical and horizontal stabilizations, the deceleration and landing.
Memory? Calculation? Not in that tiny brain. Instinct? Maybe, but how does instinct know which way the branches of a tree have grown when no two are the same?
That little bird just knew. It had faith, in spite of not being able to see how things would work out, that if (and only if) it stayed the course the details would be taken care of; that an opening would appear and a twig would be found. In fact, had she slowed down enough to carefully and logically inspect the tree first, the prudent thing to do, she would have lost her lift and fallen to the ground.
Kind of like reaching for your dreams. Neither memory, nor calculating, nor instincts are the deciding factors, but faith coupled with action.
Tallyho,
The Universe
WARNING: staying the course is NOT the same as clinging to a HOW.
Starting at the end.
Imagine what the end of what you want looks like; I have the job of my dreams, I’m in a great marriage, I’m twenty pounds thinner, I’m healthy without the need of medication.
Then go back to the start and create that end. Sounds too simple to be true but it is not.
Think about some of your greatest achievements and you will be able to see you imagined that end first and then set everything up in line with the goal.
So what do you need to look at from the end? What more can you create by starting at the end?
Forgetting 2 Remember seminar was created from the end. ” I’m going to have a self-awareness seminar May 22-24,2009 and then another one July 24-26, 2009.” That end was set in motion on March 17th, 2009. Then I started at the beginning and build a program. Guess what? May was a huge success and July is just around the corner with even more promise of success.
When you set that intention and create everything to be in line with the end, then the results cannot be anything less than your dream. The universe just doesn’t work like that. We are the creators of our dreams, of our thoughts and of the end result.
Risk
I was recently posed the question, “aren’t you afraid of the risk of adventuring into a new business?” I thought to myself, what risk? And then thought maybe I just didn’t understand the word because I don’t see a “risk” involved. So back to my infamous 1981 Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary. Risk: possibility of loss or injury, a dangerous element or factor.
Okay now that that is clear, back to the question at hand. “Aren’t you afraid of the risk….” The word that calls my attention in this question is not “risk” but “afraid.”
Fear is what creates the risk! If I feared the risk of loss, failure, critizism, rejection, etc. then I have universally set myself up for those things to manifest. I set my intention to not include such words. There can be no risk in creating your hearts desire. Our universe just doesn’t work that way.
So dream and dream big with all your heart, set that intention to the world and watch what happens. Risk is not an option it is a state of mind.
Do-overs !
I want to plug www.tut.com again! The message I received yesterday morning could not be any more on course with what I’m doing. Coincidences? I don’t think so.
Consider signing up for this personnal message to you very day. It is great inspiration.
| Oh yeah, Derinda, I forgot to tell you…You get as many “do-overs” as you like. Of course, you never know you’re living a “do-over”
until it’s over. There are lots of reasons for wanting a “do-over.” Most of all, people want another chance to do things they were afraid to do the first time, and to say things they were afraid to say. Oddly enough, it’s not their mistakes they want to rework, but their “unused” minutes. Yeah, pretty nifty, but you should know that it isn’t any easier the next time, and because no two ever go exactly the same, the gifts, opportunities, and loves of one, never appear the same way again. Never. So all in all, it’s better to live as if there are no “do-overs,” so that you won’t need one. But I thought I’d share this with you anyway, to work in the bits about fear, mistakes, and how precious today’s opportunities really and truly are. Crafty as a fox,
